Face of Today Foundation is focused on providing support and resources for vulnerable Vancouver youth, and in partnership with Houston Stevenson Legacy Fund will continue to provide youth access to therapy and wrap-around programming in support of their mental health.

Who we are

Face of Today Foundation is a youth resource and support centre serving vulnerable youth in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, Grandview, Woodlands neighbourhoods. We acknowledge that the Face of Today resource centre is located on the traditional and unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱ wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilw̓ ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples who have been stewards of this land from time

immemorial.

Our goal is to provide a safe space for youth to form a community. We partner with like-minded community members and after-school programs to provide valuable opportunities to the youth we serve. We align our programming around our core values, “C.A.R.E”, short for Community,

Accountability, Resiliency & Empowerment.

DEMOGRAPHIC OF THE YOUTH WE SERVE

Over 100 youth served regularly. Participants attend Vancouver’s most impoverished schools, categorized as Tier 1 schools by the Vancouver School Board. Many of our youth come from single-parent/guardian households or households that fall below the poverty line.

99% IBPOC (Indigenous, Black, People of Colour) Living in Social Housing: Boys+ 86%, Girls+ 77%
